Hi,

I am presently in bangalore and my due date is 9th Dec. This is my first pregnancy. I had my last check up on 16th June and the heartbeat etc was all fine....But I donot feel any movements...I read its like butterfly flutterings / grumbling - growling inside stomach...but I cant feel anything...Currently I would be in 22nd week, so I should feel some kind of movement. I am worried. Just hope everythings alright.

Is there anyone else from bangalore? Please respond.

Regards,
Deepti.

Hi ,
I'm in my 20th week and from last week I'm feeling the movements at first I thought they r not but they r.
You have to be very careful while watching. If u r doing something the chance of feeling the movements r less. I'm laying down either left or right side after drinking some water. This helped me observing the movements.
Ans one more thing the baby might be active either in the morning or in the evening. Mine is active in the evening. So try both times and if u feel like some ballon just touched and gone then thats it!
Even if you don't observe now my prenatal class nurse told 7th month u'll be. At that time not occasionally u feel movements but frequency increases.
Best of Luck

Hi,

Im from Bangalore too and my due date is 30th Dec. Im going to complete my 19th week soon. I had an ultrasound last week and the doc said it was too soon to feel anything. She said typically you experience \";anything\"; only after the 20th week. I have also heard from previous moms that in the first preg, some women dont feel their baby moving until very late. So as long as the doc says your fine, I think you have nothing to worry.

Best,
Raji

Hi ,

I am Sweta , stay in bangalore . Where in bangalore you stay ??

My due date is 6th December . I am feeling the movement of my baby . But you have to very careful while watching . it differs from person to person whether you can feel the movement or not . So you please don't worry . If doctor says everything is fine , you don't need to worry . Take care of your health don't occupy yourself with unnecessary things .

Even my tommy is not showing much . But my Doctor said don't worry as the baby is doing fine .

All the best ,
Sweta ...

Very good doctor
Hi,

I delived a baby boy in March 2009. I consulted Dr.Chitra Ramamurthy during my pregnancy cycle. She' s one of the best doctors in Bangalore. Not many people know about her. She handled the entire process in a very professional manner. I used to visit her clinic in Jayanagar 3rd block. She is very caring and affable. She says what to do and what not to do. ... - Sandhya Rao [View Message]

So long as your baby is feeding, that' s all that really matters. These days, formulas are packed with everything the baby needs, and although it is never as good as breast milk, it' s perfectly fine. It sounds like maybe what you are missing is the bonding that breast feeding provides? My first child had both breast and bottle milk for the first 6 months, when I had a mis... - Jhumri [View Message]
