Planning a Baby  Discussion Forum

Hey Hi All...
Entering in the world of Parenting India with a big Question in mind and with bit confused state as we got married before 2 yrs...
Now I think the time has come to plan a Bay...but the real problem is I think I can not prepare may mind...for the same ...and on the other hand also aware of the fact that Baby has to be there now...
So pls help...... Pratheeksha replied. My advice in this case would be that go ahead and try for a baby only when you both really think you are prepared for one. Don't do it for the sake of society and social pressure.Remember that a baby means a lot of responsibility and you have to set apart lot of time for the little one apart from the effort it will take, its complete responsibility that's entirely vested with you.It's like an all-time engagement for years to come, starting from the time you become pregnant. Analyse your mindset and your husband's, are you both prepared for a baby emotionally and economically? But parenting is not all that hard, after all, if you can make a baby, you should be able to bring it up too.Just think of all the joy at the end of the day..that should prepare you well enough.

Apart from books there's a treasure trove of information on the internet, so you can find info on pregnancy as well as bringing up your child. The more you read, the more you'll be prepared and know what to expect at each stage, so all the best to you.
