Hi everyone,

Hope you are all doing fine, enjoying your last phases of this pregnancy.
I had my check up yesterday. I have gained only one pound in the last 3 weeks, but my doctor is not concerned as the growth is fine. The fundal height was little less than 35, since I am short doc says its normal. Baby is head down, making as much possible movements as it can. Doctor also checked cervix & said its soft & short, which means that one may get into labor little early. So I have been asked to take it easy & be in flat position in bed as much as I can. My group B strep came positive :(, which means I will be given antibiotics during the labor. Non stress test is scheduled this weekend to check fluid level etc.
Does anyone have their non stress test scheduled??
As the dates are nearing I am having many mixed feelings, anxiety, excitement, overwhelming, happy, nervous. Are you all feeling the same??
Just trying to take it easy....

Perky Dreamymommy replied. Hi Perky....Great to hear from you...Imagine 37 weeks have flown past!Doesn' t it seem just like yesterday when we discovered we were pregnant ! I am in my 35th week and already going through all those mixed feelings you talk about - Of course at the moment the ' nesting' feeling has invaded me completely and despite the fatigue I am going crazy sorting out and organizing every possible corner in the house including the freezer, if you please.
Haven' t had my Strep B test yet and neither a physical but I know they are just a week away at my next appointment. The baby has been head down for a while now and how I love to feel those kicks and hiccups. Guess I will miss them when he is out.

Will be writing in as often as I can. meanwhile all the best. I pray for a smooth and easy delivery and a perfectly healthy baby for you and everyone else too.

Good to hear from you. Wow, 37th week, huh! I am also counting the days. As you have the first due date in our group,might be a little bit tensed. Don' t worry abt all those feeling. Having the baby is always overwhelming and in your case its for the first time. Believe me, its normal.
When I was having my son, in 37th week checkup doctor said that I was 1cm dialated and might be any day. That day I was almost in tears. I was so scared and wasn' t sure if I was ready to take care of the baby. My h' band was laughing and asking me: isn' t it too late to ask that question :)
Its all normal. Try to take it easy. Ofcourse I am also in the same boat now. As the days are getting closer, I am losing my patience and kind of getting tensed on when its going to happen and if I have everything ready etc.
I am really having trouble sleeping in the night. But I guess, got to bear it. I will find out the Group B step results on friday. Will update you guys.
