I am a married woman. I am 7 months pregnant now. I have been facing this situation for the last 3 weeks. Earlier in my pregnancy, my husband appeared to love me more than ever. But since the last few weeks, he seems to have lost interest in me. I have got bigger. But that is nothing more than normal. During pregnancy, people get bigger. It has been days and weeks since he touched me with that love and passion he used to have before. He comes for intercourse. But even that too becomes very formal. I am becoming too machine-like. I don't feel interested since we are not even kissing the way we should be.

Now it is like we are just two strangers under a roof. He shows love to his kid inside my belly. Is he going to be like this for ever? I want him to love me more during this time. Sometimes some odd and bad thoughts come to mind. Like what to get attraction from men. Sometimes I feel so sexy and I want him to touch me. My husbad is not attracted to my body/mind.

a friend replied. Pls don't worry and be sad. Try to enjoy your pregnancy. I read somewhere that sometimes as u get bigger, men look at you more like mother to their child and not as a women. I think this is just a phase. MAybe he is scared that he will hurt the baby. Maybe he feels like there r 3 and not 2 people in bed....but overall i think it is just a phase.
During prenancy hormnones r crazy. Some women have over sex drive. And some r more emotional and sometimes it iseverthing. It will all be ok.

It's normal for a man to be like this during the various stages of pregnancy. What he is feeling is a great sense of love, responsiblity...

During pregnancy, it is very normal for a girl to have a heigher sex drive than before...

The same hormones that control the sex drive are teh ones that make pregnant women more sensitve and sometimes cry.

Just remember that it is a big deal for both of you...

Don't worry. This happens. This isn't because your husband doesn't love you or find you attractive. May its just like a pregnancy blue for him. Afterall, not only YOU are pregnant, your husband is literally preganant - waiting for the baby for 9 months
