Nurseries and Schools:crying in JRKG

hi
I am a stay-at-home mom and my child (3.5) has a lot of anxiety when he has to go to school which he started this year. He is in JrKG and for the first few days he was happy and loved going to school... but now he cries to go to school. I met the teacher and she tells me he cries and wants to be carried.. Even in school he wants to be with the teacher all the time.. He will not sit in his place and cries a lot but otherwise he is a very happy and playful child and very well behaved. Whenever he is uncomfortable in a situation he wants to sit in the lap and hugged. He is a single child. he is also very attached to me. Please help.

don' t worry too much. some kids are a bit emotional in anew environment.especially when they go to school for the first time. let him take time and learn to b independent. he will soon learn from others. just relax. this is the time for him to learn and explore the world outside the home.
