Hi friends,

I have consulted with my Mom as well as with quite a number of elderly ladies. No one said today there is a Eclipse. There is one during the later part of the month (I think 27th oct). Even we consulted with the temple priest and according to him also there is none (atleast not in India).

During Solar eclipse (during the eclipse period only) one should not take any food, should not go out of the house, if at all necessary to go out then not to be looked up to the sky, should not use the knife to cut anything etc. Though I will follow all these, but don't know the scientific reasons behind these (if there is any!).

Can anyone through a little more light into this?

Hi Niti, i have got the same instructions from everyone. And yes you are right there was no eclipse today, not in india atleast. But apparently there is one on 27th or 28th. Please do inform me as well once you have confirmed information on the time of eclipse etc.
By the way i am 5 months pregnant and you??????
And this is my second child.

How are you! I will intimate you as and when I get some more information on the eclipse. There are lots of do's and don'ts... I will let you know if i come to know in near future.

I am too in 5th months. In fact, entering in 6th month from today. My EDD is 19 Feb '05. I am in Delhi. Working as a Merchandiser with a french co. in Delhi.

KK hospital i find is the best in singapore also cheap
It depends where u stay actually
If u are on the west coast then KK wont be far else if u stay near jurong there are many hosp for kids there
