Due Date Club February 2005: breast pump- Avent ISIS

Does anyone use this pump. I will be pumping around 3-4 times a day. Is this manual pump good.

I also would like to know if anyone using the Ameda Electric pump.
i am confused which one to purchase since i can't return it after purchasing.

I too am using the avent breast pumps. The Avent breast pumps are really good. These are recommended by the doctors for the safety of the kids. The pumped milk can be stored in bottles which comes with the pump.

Hi Diksha,

I am using Ameda Purely Yours since Dec04 and it has worked very well for me. I have had to borrow Medela Pump in Style (electric too) and I prefer Ameda, it is lighter, the bottle holder feature is very helpful. My friend at work has Medela Pump in Style Advanced which is supposed to more closely mimic baby's sucking rhythm, u may want to check it out.

I used to be in singapore a few months ago and have just shifted to bangkok
KK hospital i find is the best in singapore also cheap
It depends where u stay actually
If u are on the west coast then KK wont be far else if u stay near jurong there are many hosp for kids there
