Hi I also had to travel to India when my son was 1 and half. I think the stroller is better, and the baby seat is not of much use in India. Take snacks and little nibbles, they are absolutely necessary.Maybe Cheerios would be good. Take a few toys along and that can keep him busy for time. Water, milk, bisciuts, the more the better. also pack xtra set of clothing and diapers too. The airlines never have diapers which is strange. anyway lots of luck and paitence.

Hi It is nice to be prepared for such a long journey. But I think you should be prepared for water infections, motions fever, cold and cough. I dont have much idea about the immunizations becoz i dont live in the US anymore. right now we are in Hongkong and will have to travel to India. Just be prepared n personally I think children should not be over protected about fever. A little dust might not any harm afterall. I hope you are able to travel safely.
Bye Pallavi
