It should be atleat 2 to 3 yrs. but it also depends on conditions also..age also.

Siblings who have 1 to 1 1/2 year gap between them can be really close like friends.
And siblings who have more than 2-3 years gap are different in the sense the older one becomes more responsible for the younger one and the younger one looks up to the older one as a role model for behaviour and actions.

I know siblings who have a 7 yr. gap and the older one almost becomes a foster parent. So it all depends on what relationshiop you want between your kids.

just curious Anju, It must be very hectic 2-3 years for parents if children are only 1 and 1/2 years apart.

But i have just read in books all about the age gap stuff.I want to have views of parents who have 2-3 kids.What they think about it?
