i also had breast infection & doc asked me to switch on formula till it is cured completely .. now when i have started feeding again my nipples pain a lot & also look very different than before there is a slight white boil at the point as if some water is filled in it.. i don't know if it s the normal or is something .. may be the infection is still there .. pls let me know .. nt replied. if u have meastitis(breast inf).try to express milk through breast pump,hand or messaging in hot water.as milk lumps can increase inf.i had meastitis 2 mnths back.i took some antibiotics.but only thing that helped me is feeding my baby.consult your dr b4 doing it to reduce pain. svijay replied. the white boil like thing maybe pus collection as a result of the baby sucking and the prev infection not healed well. i had the same problem last week. pls show it to yr gynec she might drain out the pus and put u on antibiotics and some cream and ul be fine. pls dont ignore it
