Nurseries and Schools:playschool hunt

hi,
i m the confused mother of two kids and time has come (so i m told) to send my elder son to a playschool.he is 2 yrs 7 months and quite bright (like all mom' s opinion :) )and i have yet not sent him to a playscholl simply because i didn,t feel my child was ready for one.now i feel he needs some more intellectual stimulation but i m very very much against rote learning and pressurized learning curriculum. i would like to send my kid somewhere where he would be able to meet some kids ,make friends,play and have somebody teach to observe and question things around him and just be patient and kind and not cruel to him.i have been to a few playschools but i m not very sure what to do and where to send him.
is there anybody who can help me?
i went to mothers pride,modeltown and eurokids,kamlanagar and americanplayway,civillines... but i m not sure what to do.. everybody just seem to be wanting to make a fastbuck.. i dont mind the money but i would like to do the best for the child.are there any more playschools in northdelhi ,civil lines ?
