Hi everyone,
My visit was pretty fast this time as all was fine.My cough is finally 75%improved&my appetite is back. The happy thing was as soon as the doc put the doppler on my tummy the heartbeat came thumping loud as if my baby was making sure he/she was heard.I have been getting vague sensations in my tummy, but nothing concrete,so was relieved that baby was fine. The dr felt i had no flab&good muscle over my abdomen so said it may take a while to percieve movements.
As i had an U/S at 12 wks she said lets wait until 28wks,i was ok with it as long as the baby is fine.
So mostly we may go on until the 9th mth for a surprise!
I was miserable the whole of last wk but glad to feel normal&healthy once again.Thnx for all your wishes.
Gluck to all of you!
Bhargavi keep drinking i think u r fine with 1.5L but all of you restrict the water nearing bedtime.Rather sleep uninterrupted until the 3rd trimester where it is inevitable.
I guess from now on all of us shd look at ideally gaining a lb a week.
I always thought squatting is a great exercise for normal labour but the nurse yesterday told me No!Any comments on this?
Happy eating&girls do keep in touch!
Susan iam on Prima care too!

Glad to know u r doing well..and ur little one is fine. Was thinking of doing some yoga exercises for pregnancy this time, though they say its safe to do squating exercises...i was concerned too..but most of yoga books and instructors recommend it (they give u a whole list of options of when to avoid and how to modify exercises in each trimester and last trimester was exercises sitting in a chair,so thought was safe..). still in two minds if i should do it or skip it..yoga does make body more adjusted to changes..my dad, husband all yoga fanatics..anyway, now that u have confirmed the nurse said so..can skip the squat exercises..
walking seems best where u don't have to think if u are on right track..rains here quite often...cannot be regular then. Anyway thanks for the tip..will keep it in mind.
All the best to u..be cheerful..have a nice day.
Radhika

Hi Manvi
Nice that everything is getting better with ur cough.
I am going to try to aim for 2+ litres as Sandhya suggested.
My doc told me to not do any exercise other than walking(which I am not doing, I feel so bad abt it). I am not sure abt the squats...
Take care u all
