i hope everyone is fine out thr ..n any godh bharai rasams been over or going to happen ...mine was on sunday but ..very small ..b' coz here not much to do as in US.hence not much exicting ...i also wnted to disscuss abt the pain i m going through pass couple of weeks ..before i use to hv slight pain down(vaginal area ) near pubic bone and that pain
use to pass through whole of my left leg ..but now its become severe . usually at night times
while turning or getting up frm bed or chair ....my hubby says may be the baby is making space or area is expanding ..i dont know wht is it ..is any one goig thr the same .. .while taking bath i cant even lift my leg up sometimes it pains ..plz advice

Just wanted to mention that I have the same pain that Vidhi is having... I saw my doc and he said it is growth pains... Am trying my best to relax... He also said that I should do a lot of back strengthning exercises and walk a little now on... Swimming can help but I wont be doing it as the water doesn' t suit me even when am not pregnant...

Luckily I feel the baby at least 10 times a day... Once I cross 28 weeks, I will start counting fetal kicks... That helps, so Dolly, you can try that too...

Alolika, your godhbharai rasam sounds so sweet... People coming from different places to do it for you... My mom' s with me in Chicago and hubby is traveling to NY and back every week... Not sure if I will have one, but given a chance I would have loved to have a godhbharai too...

sorry to know about ur ongoing pain.. i too have pain but not in the groin area mine is behind my hips(butt area) and sometimes my whole leg aches at night. am having backache too.. this happens on n off not everyday for me.
you should check it out with your doc if the pain is unbearable. just cheer up girl.. i hope you feel better soon:-))
well, regarding my godhbharai rasam i had it last week. My sister n few friends with their families had come down from india n they did my baby shower. It was sweet n simple. I wore a green dress n green bangles( maharashtrian tradition) had lotsa sweets, sang songs n got gifts..thats it.
anyways, hope you feel better soon. dont worry, all this aches n pains r part of pregnancy. take care.....

visit Dr.

Dear Vidhi,
Even i was going thru pain from past couple of days, but it was not severe and not in the abdomen, it was more like as if uterus was expanding.
Yesterday i had biggest fear of my life, i didn´ t feel my baby´ s movements whole day and I got so upset nad worried by the end of the day. My husband as working night shift, i was alone , so i called Dr. and she told me to visit her immediately. According to her, not feeling movements at 7th month shud not be taken lightly. I went there and she put me on CGT, 20 minutes observation to check baby´ s heart beat pattern. According that everything was alright.
However Dr. has given me a scan today for fetal well being. I hope my baby is fine.
So what i was telling was, that yesterday dr. asked me whether i have any pain in abdomen? her question was quite concerning, as i don´ t have it´ s alright. but i am sure u shud let ur dr. know about this, as u still need go thru this another 2 months and it shud not be taken lightly.
My Godh Bharai is on 27th May.

horlicks with milk

i know for sure horlicks is absolutely fine with milk.. but in pregnancy i was adviced to have mother' s horlicks since it has DHA and some other stuff that are good for the baby...
