Anyone feeling the baby Hiccups? it will be entirely diff from the kicks ......what will you do to stop the hiccups? do share.....

yah ,at times i also feel lil jerk in my tummy.doc says nothing 2 worry.

Hi Dolly, Ruvi and Apps,
Thanks for your info....yes apps the same..as you mention. i wasnt worried as i know the baby is fine with hiccups and even after birth they do have for few weeks. yday i was talking to my son and he was having hiccups. he asked me whether the baby will have hiccups too and i said yes. it was he who asked to stop the baby hiccups for which i said i cannot....but he said so many remedies (courtesy:his cartoons) so was wondering whether we have any oldwives methods for that......and hence this query. my baby' s hiccups are @ night times only.....till date. how abt you all?

Apps is right, hiccups dosen' t trouble babies in the womb as they do to us.
And yeah, i too have this constant light jerks, which i guess are my baby' s hiccups.

Hi Jichy,
I think I too feel baby' s hiccups.I feel something like strong heartbeats in my tummy and it repeats 7-8 times and stops. Do you feel the same way.

I have read that baby can get hiccups at this stage and the way hiccups trouble us,it is not the case with baby and hence it is not a cause of worry.

no need to worry, this time no need to offer water to the little one to stop his hiccups.
Hiccpus are lighter thn kicks, like light kicks, this time when i saw my baby during scan he did that and i felt it like a light kick :)

horlicks with milk
i know for sure horlicks is absolutely fine with milk.. but in pregnancy i was adviced to have mother' s horlicks since it has DHA and some other stuff that are good for the baby...
