A single male is eligible to adopt child but he can adopt only a male child. Also you have to take certain high authority permissions before you proceed for the adoption. Further if a male is adopting a girl then the age difference should be at least 21.Also the person to be adopted should not be more than 15 years of age. Sandy Dixit replied.
