Due Date Club December 2002:Sudden Weight Gain

Before getting pregnant my weight was 58kg. My first few months of pregnancy I gained weight gradually. Suddenly in my 6th Month I gained about 3 kg and now in my 7th month I gained another 4 kg. I am 68kg now. But I dont feel like I have gained weight.
Is something wrong with me. have anyone of your'll experienced it. Pls do let me know

Hi friends,

Every woman must gain some weight during pregnancy. it is normal and after delivery, ur weight will be reduced. there is nothing to worry. u must gain abt 15 kgs. during pregnancy.

Dear Maria,

It happened with me too. I was 54 when I got pregnant and now I am 67. I gain a lot weight in last two months. I was also too much worried but my Dr. says not to worry whatever I gain in nine months I can reduce in nine months after delivery. I gain weight on my thighs, buts, back, and breast. All in all I look like a balloon totally different from my first pregnancy.
So don’t worry and enjoy your pregnancy.
But yes we have to work hard after delivery to reduce this weight specially in first nine months.
