Name: pridu Hey archie...h r u?? howz advait? nakul is a handful now..busy with him...i hva ques for u..my sil got a scan done and it seems she has a cyst on her left ovary which is of 1.5cm..shes yet to try for a baby. wat do u think?? is it small?? can it be treated by medicines? she must be goin to a gynec soon..yet i thought i will put my concerns to u..ok take care. luv to advait.

I was feeling a guilt that I could not approach you on August 23rd and then I felt not so appropriate to tell I missed to wosj Nakul on his first B'day.

It will be of more fun when he will start making some words.
Advait is fine and still home not yet in school, will wait for next year. Picks up songs from TV so that be Hindi or Childrens music. Some time he sings the song from commercials or from movie quite strange but that's the way he catches thing from TV.

About business, the cyst is small and likely shrink on its own or with medication it will surely be fine. I would strongly recommend protected intercourse, say BCP for next two cycles until she makes sure the cyst is disappeared and then she can start ttc.

She can visit a gynec and get on the track. But this is not a major concern until the cyst is growing above the size, so gynec intervention is good idea at this stage.

This might be time for infertility thorugh check for your SIL and her spouse. Four years is long enough to get reviewed reproductive system.

What type of work your SIL and her spouse do? It matters what's life style and habits on food and rest. It also matters how and what type of stress they have to deal it with.

Failure of IUI is many time due to inappropriate timing and scanty study on ovulation profile. Regular menses does not categorically qualify quality of egg and also one must know the quality and also quantity of semen of her spouse.

Since you are Keralite and this is one of the Indian state believes in Ayurveda has your SIL thought of trying it or just having a counselling with an Ayurveda MD Dr. She might choose to go with allopathy or balance of both.

Sometime lot of procedure and persistance while ttc can also lead to cyst.

I would typically look at his Semen and her reproductory hormone profile around the end of menses and start from there. This will help us to know if they can be helped some way.

Good luck for her upcoming tests.

hey thanks for replying archie..and dont hv any guilt...as ppl tend to forget :) u hv been there when we needed..when i needed..i shud thank u for that!

it must be really fun watching advait singing n talking rt?? im waiting for my turn..and watz the hurry to skool...anyways they r gonna end up there ultimately..

abt my sil.it seems she went to the gynec today..she has asked her to come n meet her after shes done with her periods as she is due now. and then there will be a re-scan n if needed medication will start i guess...

another thing archie..my cuz underwent 4 IUI's all failed..and shes really down..now the only option is IVF is it?? is it better to get it down in india? it seems she ovulates naturally...yet hv been ttc since 4 yrs..when she told me..i thought abt u..any notes for her?? thanks in advance..sorry again for so many questions :) take care n lotsa luv to advait.
