i still using gerber stage 1 foods to aashu
all of you using home made food to babies?
is it more good than gerber cereal and veggies?

hi meena,

If u can introduce home food it is better, cuz its fresh and homemade, like mung dal khichri, ragi, mashed banana, rice+dal etc.. Because of gerber they get used to puree texture, so they don't really like our coarse texture afterwards. You can start out with gerber once a day and home made once a day. Now we can introduce egg yolk and yogurt too since they are nine months old. Also, start on gerber 2 like ck mentioned (gerber 2 is for babies who is able to sit up).

You can start giving stage 2 now. They hv lot of varities in stage 2. You should start introducing home cooked food, introducing various tastes earlier will make it easy for baby to eat all kinds of foods later. Home cooked food are fresh, so it is better than gerber food.

seems everyone is busy ,busy alot. For me too life is hactic. But i do not forget to take a break in between either a movie or party or go out on weekends. Last 15 days i had all.
