Have you ever had to help your child complete a big task in a small period of time? What rules do you tell your child to keep in mind when working within a team?

It is absolutely true that time management is a major step in completing a project or homework. Now a days children are pressurised with a lot of things.for eg earlier the children used to play in the buiolding compounds or in the parks but today the scene is different parents have to take their children for various sports activities, abacus, tutions ,personality dev. classes and so much that hardly leaves any time for revisions, projects or homework as a result the whole pressure lies on the child.Infact the error lies with the education system itself the project given to the children cannot be handled alone by them parents have to complete them it is not the childs full effort.Hope there should be a systematic way to deal with the education of children

I think this article should have been in the general section. It is not just for children but can be used by adults as well. This article can easily be translated into a work scenario, where projects and deadlines are the norm. If children learnt all these things when they were young, it would be infinitely easier for them to join the workplace as adults.

This article is titled ' Time management for kids' but it actually involves things the parent has to do. Therefore the article should have been how parents manage their child' s time. All in all, a good article. It deals with basic points that every parent must ensure that their child follows.

Children have too much work to do nowadays. They sometimes appear to be miniature versions of MBA students. All these projects are such big headaches. As it is, they do not have time to do anything other than schoolwork. Why do they have to get so many projects?

RE:Reading Newspapers
How old is your kid as it depends on the age of the child and one cannot force a five year old to read the newspaper so if your child is above ten years then yes you should ask him or her to read the newspaper daily.... - Aditi [View Message]
