Aches and Pains:thyroid prob is it possible to concive

i m 28 yrs old having a daughter of 2 1/4yrs
before 4-5 months i came to know that i am suffering from hyperthyroid. now is it possible for me to plan next child ? whether it will effect my child? is there any precaution that i have to take? pls let me know

I am not hyperthyroid but hypothyroid (which is a tad easier to manage than hyperthyroidism) and have been so for over 15 yrs now. Thyroid problems if monitored and kept in control should pose little problem in conceiving or a pregnancy. The key is to be vigilant and be under complete medical supervision. So I suggest that you get in touch with your endocrinologist and am more than certain you shall meet with success.
