I was 6 weeks pregnant & had a miscarriage.I was pretty ok & suddenly had bleeding & miscarried it.i am really sad.I dont know what to do now.i am feeling really miserable.do i need to undergo any surgery for this.When i can plan to concieve again.

Post miscarriage

Hi Saroj,
I don't know if you're still reading this but hope you're feeling better by now.

I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks and had to go into emergency wheere they just inserted something llike tong and took out 3 big clots and the rest came out by itself in the form of a period. Than I conceived my daughter immediately next month. She's now almost two and last month I miscarried again. I live abroad and the doctor here told me to let everything come out by itself thru' a period and it did. Absolutely no need for the D& C surgery.

Miscarriage at this stage happens either becoz of chromosomal deformity or hormone deficiency and there's nothing you could've done better to avoid it. So relax and try again. It's worth the wait for a healthy ababy believe me!!!

Thanks for ur advice.Right now the doc has asked me to do a blood tests & she said if the beta count of the blood comes down,then i need not do a surgery.Otherwse i might have to.They r not able to state any reason for the miscarriage.I dont know why this happenned.

Hi Saroj,
If you have not yet shown urself to the doc. after you miscarried, I think you should go coz I also had a miscarriage when I was 10 weeks pregnant, I had to go and get myself operated,they basically just clean up anything that's left inside of you. I think if everything is normal, you can try after 3 months, thats what i did and got pregnant exactly after 4 months of my miscarriage.
