i am in tears while posting this msg. We have recently got transferred from Noida, UP. My daughter was in CBSE affiliated school, Apeejay their.Here in Powai, Hiranandani foundation school we applied for our daughters admission in class 1. Just because of the diffence in the age criteria for the admission that the ICSE and CBSE have , my daughrer is not getting admission .Principal says that she is big for class 1 and we can' t take her in class 2 because TC shows that is not promoted to class 2. what should i do now?

hey, juct chanced to read ur mssg. 1st of all in bbay to get into an icse school in std 1st this year your daughter shud be born between jan1st2002-dec31st2003. does she fall within this? to get into HFS i hope u know that u need to own your own apartment in HNI. and now i think they wud have closed admissiong way abck in march mid itself. you cud also try bombay scottish(icse)i cant remember one cbse school there, gopalsharma its a good school my newphew used to study there. u cud also try dhirubhai coz they have kids coming from powai. dont worry!

Hi Rakhee,
Don' t lose hope dear. I have no clues about Mumbai schools. But my suggestion is that u should get her admitted in any ICSC/CBSE school that takes her and keep trying for admission in the desirable schools.
Its a pity age is a spoilsport. Usually the age criteria in CBSE and ICSC is different and she should be able to get into any 1 school atleast.
Trust in God, your worries will be over soon.
