Name: Naveena

Dear Archie and others
NOw that iam getting periods regularly,Does it mean i am also ovulating bcs i am PCos,I had this in Mind bcs when i was on Metformin ,provera ,i was not ovulating so i was started on clomid so just confused bcs now though my past 4 cycles my periods go in for a week.
I have lost 10 pounds in these 3 months and i think all this is due to this, but don't know how long this also will continue.
I t happens always when i lose weight i get the periods, like some yrs back also it happened,so doe s that mean i have keep my weight in control all thru the life bcs of these poly cysts.
One more question why do we hear this kind of problem nowadays,is it food or some body metabolism.
I just don't want my daughter to end up with this problem in future ,though nothing is in my hands but still i think people are really lucky who have no hassles in conceiving naturally,
I was told if u have diabetes running in the family u have chances of Pcos is it true Archie,i Know all these are interrelated but my mother nver had this problem when we were born and naround 4 yrs back she has been found diabetic,I always think with all this i awill end up daibetic by 35 maybe.
Anyway thought of telling u all this so that u will clear it in detail more then on google.
Thanks for always being there.
I am leaving for vacation of 3.5 months with Yashvita on 28th Sept. so my advance wishes for New year too.
HOpe i will make it next year with God's grace.
Thankyou luv to Advait.

You sound much concerned on issues those are not in our hands.

I can't really tell antying in clear because as you said many things are related to each other and can't be concluded, I wish things were that easy for one to confirm. Life would have been so easy for everyone:-)

it's good to keep weight in limit, it not only helps you on regulating menses but also improves body metabolism. Remember your Cholesterol concern? I think when exercising you should get it checked and you will find it much better than before exercise, this is just to say how exercise if helpful on other part than mestrual cycles:-)

Don't extrapolate PCOS for Yashvita, not so good concern. Your mother did not have and I don't think it's that straighforward for one to estimate such chances. She is fine and she gets a set of X-chromosome from her father remember that. She has 50% genetic constitution from him.

Diabetes is linked to many and weight gain PCOS is one of the many links. Keep sugar in limit from your diet if you are worried.

Wishing you a very happy New Year and great time on your vacation. Kisses and love for Yashvita.

Advait is good and lot of mess around home:-)
