Hi,
Iam a newly married girl settled abroad. im a regular reader of this site. before marriage i was not a person who does household and now i cant be the same since we are alone here. so i started cooking and other things and trying to be proper in all. but the problem with me is i plan that i should get up by 6AM and start to cook so that my husband wont get late to office but one day that didnt happen, i get up by 7 only. after that no time for preparing lunch so only BF i give to hubby, i feel guilty abt this, please ladies help me in this. any active tips plz?
only in the morning i do this and rest of the day iam active but i need the morning time only now.
We dont prepare food earlier as me and my hubby both don like that way. so i need to do in the morning.
Actually i get up by 6AM and i feel very sleepy tht time and fall asleep.
i tried keeping alarm at 5AM but that also didnt work.
please suggest tips

some tips to save time n for happy life
1)dunt sleep for more than 1 hr during day time(u will become fat n ugly too)
2)if u r preparing dosa/idly etc...plz plz plz dunt waste time by grinding it..u will get dosa/ddly/appam powders in market(nirapara/eastern)
3)if u are preparing paratha fopr dinner..preare
extra parathas for next day's
egge paratha brkfast
4)chop gingern garlic paste in mixie n store it in a container in freezer..can use for months...if u grinds it then it wunt b easy to take out..so chop it
5)walking regularly for 30 to 1 hr daily will do a gr88 change in ur life..u will feel fresh through out the day
6)skipping ur brkfast makes u more tired n sleepy ..so u will sleep utill noon n waste plenty of time..have ur brkfast daily(with ur dh)…and still if u r feeling sleepy switch on the lights in ur room n dunt read books or browse while feeling sleepy….do some works in kitchen or washing
7)prepare rice in cooker..use pressure cooker as much as u can..for veggies u have to off the flame b4 1 whistle….i dunt like pressure cooked rice so I will add ¾ portion of water to ½ portion of rice..1 whstle it..wait for 5 to 8 min…pour water over the cooker lid..so pressure goes away..then opne n drain as susual….incase accidentally if comes more than 1 whstle immedialty pour water over the lid..depressure it n drain…if u feel that rice iz over cooked n sticky..dunt panic….pour some cooled salt added water over the drained rice n drain again..prepare rice for 2 days
8)frozen veggies wunt b tatsty ..so prepare ur own frozen veggies…cut carrots,peas or whatevr ..cook it with some water n salt..drain excess water ..keep it in air tight containers or covers n store in freezer.
9)can store roti’s in freezer upto 1 month in an airtight container…if u want to have it take it b4 6 hrs to thaw n juzt b4 eating heatup in microwave for 30 sec.can regain itz softness n taste by freezing it…only thing iz shud use hot water to knead the dough.
10)waking up early morning depnds upon u..if u switch off the alarm then it will become a habit daily…if u wakeup at 6 daily for 1 week..then automatically u will wakeup without alarm…and we most of us will think “lemme keep alarm 1 hr b4 waking up..so that I can b on bed n getup slowly”….say no no to thiz habit..keep alarm only at the time u wakeup.keep ur alarm far away frm u(shud wwalk n stop the alarm).with me thiz worked well.yoga helps well to wakeup earlier.maintaining proper timing to go to bed helps to wakeup by time.
11)can store cooked dal,cooked chickpeas,marinated chicken,fish etc in freezer
12)will tell u an easy curry recipe incase if u dunt have much time..u need

Frozen veggies-1/2 cup(carrot,peas,corn,beans)
Onion chopped- 1
Tomato chopped-1
Ginger garlic paste-1/2 tsp
Coriander powder- ½ tsp
Salt
Garam masala powder-1/4 tsp
Pepper powder-1/4 tsp
Coriander leaves –chopped few
Milk—mix 5 tsp of cow’s milk powder in 1 cup of water.

Sauté onion ,then ginger garlic,then coriander powder,then tomato,salt ,veggies one by one..when it gets cooked.add the above mixed milk n keep fire in very low flame..bcuz if milk boils it will curdle..add salt…if milk becomes hot(dunt allow to boil)add coriander leaves,garam amsala powder,pepper powder…n stir…curry ready.thiz iz a pretty easy curry..goes well with roti,paratha,puri,naan.

i wunt gettime to walk too.but morning walk iz best..i am having a baby too..so i will walk daily evening..or even inside home.

Thanks for your tips, let me try ur idea for waking up earlier. i normally keep alarm in my mobile so i will keep it in hall so that i can get up to switch it off.

when do u walk? i don get time in the morning till 9 bcos of sending my hubby to office. and after that sun will come.
