Hi Archie,
I am about 6 weeks pregnant and my husband and I have been having intercourse but last week i started bleeding (spot bleeding). I immediately took an appointment with my doc and was asked to do a blood test to check my HCG. I got my reports and its increasing and the doc said \";there is nothing to worry\";. The bleeding stopped and then we had intercourse and started bleeding again (same way). Its been abt 2 days now with very light spotting which is brown or sometimes pink in color,however my panties dont get stained with the spotting. Its only when i use a tissue to clean. I havent experienced any pain.
Is this normal or something to get worried. I would higly appreciate if u could advice me on what i should do?

No intercourse until the placenta is confirmed not covering cervix or moved upward.
It's mostly from low lying placenta, some couples are asked to abstain throughout the pregnancy. this is also a delicate time of pregnancy and better be careful. As said by Savitha you may give a try in second trimester for intercourse but if spotting then avoid.
My frank suggestion is no to intercourse until you know placenta is upward.

archie savitha replied. pooja,1st of all congratulations! don't worry. sometimes these kind of spotting will go away on its own. also your bhcg is increasing which is a good sign. try not to overdo things. just take things easy. if u r worried, u can have intercourse after you complete 1st trimester. i also had the same kind of spotting like yours. just till it went away, i was lying down( i was really scared as it was an ivf pregnancy) enjoy your pregnancy dear.
