Hi Girls!

As u all know that i'm due on sept 3rd so it's only 30-40 days left. I just wanna know if u all have any plans of how to lose weight soon after the baby is born. After our little angels r in our hands what is the earliest time possible to start excercising to lose those extra pounds which we gained during pregnancy.

Share ur plans with me to lose the weight after the baby is born so that we can be in our original shape soon.

Hi Khushi,

First of all, all the very best for ur delivery.
I agree with what Simmi said, breastfeeding will be the best way to lose weight. That was the same advise i got from other friends also. And acc to my mom, for 1st 2 mnths exercise is out of question as there will be lot of recouperating to do ourselves. And she also said that losing weight is not very difficult after delivery, if u have good eating habits, like less spicy and less oily which is normally advisable during confinement anyway.
So relax and enjoy this period of excitement.
Do keep us posted with ur valuable advise.
All the very best to u, waiting to hear ur good news.

Rgds/Nikita.

Hey Kushi, I heard that you cant begin exercising (rigorously atleast) until 6 weeks after delivery for normal deliveries and almost 2 months for cesarian deliveries... I do know that you have to wait till your first after birth appointment with the doctor for sure.

Like Simmi said, breastfeading allows you burn 1500 calories a day...so that's the best exercise you can do while waiting to start an exercise regimen. So plan on breastfeeding for atleast 6 months....

Relax and enjoy the 30-40 days u have left before you get to see and hold your bundle of joy. Keep us informed and since you are senior to us by 2 months, please feel free to send any advise/input our way....

Hi Khushi. First of all, here's wishing ur little angle gives u most khushi in ur life! Goodluck.
About losing weight, soon after the delivery for about 40 days u will have heavy bleeding, so exercising won't be great on agenda, unless u feel comfortable with urself. However, there is no reason to fear that the weight loss won't happen, while that period too. The best way of starting exercising is, breastfeeding. You start losing some fat immediately and the rest u will lose with light exercise, good diet and doing chores for the new born. So don't get anxious and rush starting the exercise, I have known people who started after mths of delivery and yet they got back in to shape.
All the best.
Look forward to hearing the good news soon.

Diaper Service Provider,Bangalore
Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a Diaper Service Provider in Bangalore? They generally provide cloth diapers and replace them with a new set every 2-3 days.

Thanks in advance
