VERY URGENT . - Nurseries and Schools Discussion Forum - Parents of Preschoolers Message Boards

Hi friends,
Can any one tell me about a day care center for my gal child of 1 year 3 monts (15 months) around maruthi nagar/maleshpallya/BEML layout/ tippasandra/ marathalli/ airport road ?
also i have some quries about the daycare ceners in general my quries are as follows :-
1. the time of the day care
2. do they take care of the toilet habits of children.
3. their food specially milk qulity.
4. care and love they provide to children.
5. most imp. the first aid and the docter support
6. and of coz the fees structure?

You have given lots of areas. First thing I would advise is if you can find a good day care near the place you live, it will be good as the child wonâ€™t have to commute.
It is best to call up the place for initial screening. If it fits your requirement, visit the place, speak to the parents who are sending their children and then trust your gut feeling.
Here are few day care centres in the areas mentioned by you.
Bloom Montessori and Day Care - Diamond District, Airport Road
Rainbow Nest - Murugeshpalya, Wind Tunnel Road
Aangan - Malleshpallaya, Near BEML Layout
You can do one more thing. Go around your area looking for small boards of crÃ¨ches and take down those numbers. I have seen many such boards on the road from BEML layout to Vignananagar. Not everybody is net savvy, so you may just chance upon a good day care centre this way. My son goes to a crÃ¨che called â€˜Babyâ€™s Day Outâ€™ in Basavanagar about which a lot has been written lately so I donâ€™t know if you would want to follow that up. If you want, you can visit it. Check out the Rainbow nest and Aangan. I have heard that they are also good.

It is expected that they take good care of the child, help in potty training etc.. Most of them store the childs food in a refrigerator and heat it in a microwave.. they assure u that they will chk the food if power goes off. If the child is ill they call you... if it is serious they say they try to contact the Doctors number u have given or rush to the nearest hospital
But to get the true picture u' ll have to speak to other parents who have been using the facility u have selected
Regd fee.. the ones I liked last year were around 3.5 to 4 K / month. not sure this year

I am not a regular in this forum and that is why I saw your reply so late. I am shocked that you think I represent the center. I think you have overlooked the fact that I have also given you a list of other centers in the area and talked to you about how I choose a center. This post was meant for you and not some rashmi. I have advised you to visit all centers you shortlist. I just stated the fact that my son goes to Baby´ s Day Out almost as a footnote. Dear Arpita, please don´ t belittle others when they have gone to the trouble of sharing their research work with you. I categorically state that I am not representing any center. It was a piece of well-meaning advice which was just taken in the wrong spirit. I hope you have found a good crÃ¨che for your child by now. Do tell us the name so that I can add another good creche to the list. If you havenâ€™t found anything, let me know if you are open to sending your child to kundalahalli. There is Bengali lady there who runs a crÃ¨che and I have heard it is good. She even provides maach-bhaat for lunch. :)

I appriciate ur advice for a visit to the baby´ s day out center but i have a concern that y are u favoring the center? i have also read ur earliear post to rashmi who got the issue in light. i know a parent should not be finiky but it doesnot mean that one should not care for their child. i am not pointing out but at times i think that the post by ur name is from the center itself to favour it. well it is just a doubt. i will surely give a vist to that center but let me tell u all those who have read rashmi´ s post will give a visit with negative mind set the center has to work hard to get its goodwill back.
