Anybody leaving baby with babysiter or nanny? How did u find the right one? What do you look for when you are searching for one? What all adjustments you need to do with the baby? What are the initial problems and how to solve it. Lot of questions indeed, please help me to ease out my process.

I can help with your questions..you can put an ad in the paper (India Abroad or so)..also can put a flier in Indian grocery store/temple etc.

Look for her love for children..thats the key..she should be patient and comfortable around children...you will get a general feel when you interview someone...think of who you would want to be with your child...

also be very very clear on what you expect from her...eg. no TV, things you expect her to help with , etc...there should be no ambiguity at all...also I would recommend you try her out for a week before confirming her..that way you will know her hygiene values, her comfort with your daughter and general temperament....
