My daughter is almost 3 months old now ... i have been exclusively breastfeeding all these days .. I suddenly feel that my milk supply is going down .. Im not sure that its going down gues i am just being paranoid.. Anyways i want to start taking methi seeds to Up my milk supply .. I want to know how much i should be taking? what quantity .. how many times a day ? someone please let me know

Is it really down? Once they are 3 months old babies get very efficient at drinking. They get what they require in a matter of a few minutes. Your feeding time will be less. Do you think that's happening?

Methi worked but my magic bullet was garlic. Worked very well. I ate a few spoons of rice mixed with garlic seasoning (6-7 small cloves).

Subject:  methi seeds



I used to germinate methi seeds and eat it couple of teaspoons. After germinating they do not taste bitter at all.

To germinate, you would need to soak them fo 4-5 hours and then wrap the seeds in muslin cloth and keep in some warm place like oven. The seeds will germinate in 36-48 hrs.

You could also get methi ointment from stores.

According to my gyno, I have some special hormones due to which i can easily lactate and due to that my motherly instincts are extremely high. I was lactating until 1 yr back & I still can induce if i want to breastfeed anyone.
