Nurseries and Schools:Morning problem- Summer camp
2008-04-14
Name: Joe

Hi All
I put my kid in summer camp from last week. First day he has gone without any hassle. Now a days he is crying a lot after entering into the school, he is 2 years old. Also the summer camp starts around 9 and my son normally used to have breakfast in the day care around 9.30 and now a days because he goes there he is not having breakfast...morning i give him around 7 AM 125 ml milk. That is the only food he is having till 11.30 AM. He previously was going to the day care there he used to eat well.
Can you please suggest some suggestion to make my kid to eat in the morning time around 8.30.
Sometime my kid is also ggetting up late. ALso he is not willing ot sleep in the night befrioe 11 .
I feel that he reduced his weight after going to sumemr camp.
Can you please suggest me how other moms are maanaging with this schedule.
Becauase the same I also need to follow when he starts going to the regular school.

Thanks
Joe

Instead of giving just milk, you can give him corn flakes or idli/dosa/ chappati dipped in milk.

First of all...why bother sending jus a \" 2-yr\" old to a summer camp??? I' ve a daughter who' s 2 & a half yrs old. She used to go to a nearby play home & now itz vacation time. Shez enjoying her vacation with her grand parents at home. Since Im a working mom, my in-laws take care of her...During the weekends, we take her to all possible places of her interests. Apart from the weekend outing, she goes to a nearby park to play with so many other kids...there r a lot more better ways to keep ur child (2-yr old) active & happy during vacation instead of jus dumping the poor one to a damn summer camp...

Toddlers are at a crucial stage of learning, where foundational skills for life are being developed. At Skillmatics, we believe toddlers should be learning cognitive abilities like problem-solving, memory building, and recognition of shapes, colors, and patterns.
