SMile,
Laya has been thru the ear infections and i really know how difficult it is, they dont eat anything, bcome cranky . Hope he recovers really fast..

Laya is back home n she is ok...We have stopped giving her nebulizer, she is on oral steroids for 5 days. and is improving. what ever she went thru was really horrible. Both my family side and my Dhs family side have asthma, so its like laya has high chances of getting that too.
Layas appetite n schedule is really messed p and she has bcome more attached to me. can u pls give me some more tips n ideas on what to feed her.? She has lost weight like anything..

Thanks for the support...

Hi there,
Good to hear that Laya is back home and is better now. Hope she comes back to normal soon. Even Savir had wheezing last month and was given neubilizer. We used it for 10 days, had follow up appointment in 2 weeks. The doc said it is a phase, till 3years they tend to get wheezing after that they outgrow themselves. He asked me to watch him during winter especially when he has cough along with wheezing. Both our families doesn't have asthma. But I am really worried. Take care of Laya. Give my hugs to Laya.

Its so relieving to know that Laya is fine now.. Hope she is back to her normal self soon. How did this asthma start for her? Even I had mild asthma when I was a kid, and Nikku had eczema, so I am keeping my fingers crossed for Nikku..
take care,
Bhairavi.

Hi Anitha
Hope Laya is feeling better now, what she had sounds similar to what dylan had when he was 6 months old. i think it was called RSV common cold in adults and rsv in infants
we too gave him nebuliser every 4 hours for a week. although he never needed to go to er he was wheezing.
I have asthma running in my family too but i think this is only a phase for kuds because i have heard tgivng nebuliser to infants/toddlers is coommon at this age-they grow out of it quick
Priya

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
all the best... - Manju [View Message]
