My son who is 6 yrs old does not mingle with his friends and is very shy? He does not participate in any programmes too. Hi Snisha! Don´ t worry. My kid exhibited similar behaviour when he was in 2nd standard. Don´ t force him into doing things. Let him be free. Pair him with a talkative child in class and also try and host games or interactions at your home and encourage him to participate within a limited and comfortable circle first. This works well & my kid is much better. Got these tips from her teacher.

Kids should most definitely avoid junk food. In fact, my kid's school doesn't allow us to send them junk food. Even if send them fried items and fatty foods, we get pulled up by teachers :)
