Due Date Club July 2005:Laya not well
2006-11-07
Name: Anitha

Hi,

Laya isnt well for last 2 weeks, We had to take her to doc as it was getting severe .She is havng lung irritation thats causing severe Cough making her to vomit what ever she had. She coughs so hard that tears come from her eyes and it is so difficult to bear .She doesnt have any congestion but jus irritation .ANd she gets wheezing too,, so we have to give her the nebulizer and she really hates it and cries so hard. But I do understand this is nt the age where she will be able to understand that we are doing for her good.
Her apetite also has gone down . We can feel that she is losing weight. Really sad to see her such an active girl suffering like this.

I know it is very difficult to see the little one suffer. Savir went through this in september. He had cough accampanied with wheezing, the doc prescribed nebulizer. It was for 10 days. He was perfect after that. Previously he used to cry a lot. Now a days when we use it when he has wheezing, he himself holds the mask.
Right now he is down with cold, he had slight temperature this morning. He is active whenever he wakes up and plays, after couple of hours he is dull and tierd. Each month he is getting this cold. This month he had his flu shots, I thought he wouldn't be getting cold atleast for this month. Don't know why this happens, I knw their immune system develops, but it is being very difficult, when they sre sick. They lose their appetite, once he gets back to normal, the next set of cold starts. I don't know how to protect, we cover him and take him out. That is not helping. Anyway, take care of Laya, hope she gets well soon.

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
all the best... - Manju [View Message]
