Dear members,

Need your opinion and suggestions on choosing between a few schools in south Bangalore. We are looking for admission for our daughter 2 years 10 months. She is already enrolled in Euro Kids Banerghatta road. We want her to get into a pre school with some school where she can continue her study, so we started looking for schools around.

We went to Presidency School(South) and PSBB. We liked PSBB more probably only because a few friends based out of Chennai said they are a great school in Chennai. PSBB wants us to finish the joining formalities immediately and that has got us into the dilemma.

Our questions to experienced parents are

1. Is 2 years 11 months a right age to get into a pre-Kg into a school like PSBB LLA ? Or should I continue her in Euro Kids for this year and then next year which she is 3 years 11 months we look for other schools like DPS (South), BGS NPS, Kumarans etc.

2. Which of this is a better school DPS (South), PSBB LLA, BGS NPS. Srinivas Sushilendra replied. I feel for pre-KG to primary education All the schools have almost same basic facilities required for Primary education.
I prefer the school near to home so that my kids get good time to enjoy their child hood. Getting in to well known school is very difficult and that is not worth spending huge fees and time at the cost of valuable childhood. Asha replied. Hi Deb,

I m also planning to put my 2 yrs 3 months daughter in Euro Kids Bannerghatta, just wanted to know your experience on this, r u satisfied with the school.

I like this idea of putting the kid to good school directly from Pre-kg, even I have also heard about PSBB my neighbour' s daughter is studying and she is very active and intelligent.

I think you can put her in pre kg now only as 3 years 11 months is little late for pre kg, it depends entirely on parents as well as the kid if she is mentally prepared for the school or not. Dr. Sudha replied. why dont you consider Capitol public school in J.P.nagar 7th phase near Brigade millenium and brigade gardenia, i heard it is a very good schooland they are affiliated to CBSE also. mvni replied. hi deb,
its a nice idea to put the kid to pre-kg directly so that they can continue there till 10th or 12th.
are u aware tht at PSBB, they are planning to shift their campus? the kg section would continue to be at the existing campus... and the rest will be moved nearer to bannerghatta... so consider the transpotations facilities as u decide...
we visited BGSNPS n liked the school very much... but they said the admissions to pre kg this yr has been closed... they start admissions by sept, so u have to apply right then, else the seats will be full, it seems.
DPS, is a good school i have heard, but dont know anything more... have u tried presidency? thats a pretty good one... with a big campus and the feed back on teachers are good too....theres a new school coming up, maruthi magnolia... if u get more info n schools in south bangalore, please do share with us too...
