Hi there,,its so sweet to hear about nikku ! i dont believe these kids are doing all these things :)

i got the wooden puzzles that have diff soounds with them,,i couldnt see the specific brand on them,,but they are in preschool section,,nirja has almost all of them,,as i saw her interest related to sound and music...
the mega block is the only thing written on the its pack,,the other she uses as stacking is my vegetable tins and can,,my tupperware,,i taught her to close and open them and she will put something in it,,close the lid and its a good playtime,,she remains busy and i cook !
you can get diff sizes ball,,nirja has 3,small like tennis ball, one abit bigger than that,,which she uses as football and 3rd one is like balloon,,abit bigger one,,get the one that has vibrant colours and lots of pictures on them,m sure nikku will love them,,often in baby stores,a big huge basket is lying on the side or in layaway area,,wherein all sizes balls are kept,,i got from there only...

bhairavi, dont expect your toddler right now to listen to you,,they have distracted mind,,the only thing you can do is practise ! and make them learn whenever they are distracted to whatever toy is lying there,,like if toy of blue colour is lying and she got distracted to it,,the next thing you will say is SEE THIS IS BLUE !!
just like you introduce solid, introduce nikku with one word, one colour, one animal, one bird a week and keep practising it, repeating it, as many times her eyes fall on that toy..i got diff animals, birds from target that are show pieces actually, but they look quite realistic and you can place them in line and with your hands make them walk and you make sounds,,,nirja loves to copy the roaring sound when i place lion before her and with my hands i will make lion walk on her legs and arms,,she giggles and its fun,,,you can try that,,see if it works for her...rightnow to upto 5years, practise and repetiton is the only key we have to use for them...
hope this helps you,,,take care, have fun,,lotts of love to nikku..

rest all, fine,,kiran, priya and all thanks for sharing 15month appointment updates,,i am looking forward for nirja sometimes next week...i am expecting her mmr vacnes this time,,not sure though ! thanks for updates...

Thanks Hetal for the tips, will definitely try them. Also planning to bring the puzzles and ball for her. She has a shape sorting box with diff shaped holes on its lid and diff shaped blocks to put thru them, but she smartly removes the lid and puts the blocks directly into the box and closes the lid..:) So I hope these puzzles work for her..:)

Regards,
Bhairavi.

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
all the best... - Manju [View Message]
