Hi All..i am 19 years old girl. I have a big problem related to periods and i need a solution to it.Actually, i have been facing the problem of periods for the last 4 years. till my +1, my periods were normal but suddenly, they got disturbed and whenevr peiods came, it gives me a lot of unbearable pain that i can't bear and rather i think at that time that its better to die. I consulted many doctors like MBBS, BDS etc., but they said that this is an internal problem and we can't check it until ur marriage. So, whnevr periods cum, due to immense pain, my parents call doctor and give me 2-3 injections which stops my periods n pain. But i know tht i will have to pay for it in the future bcoz, if i stop periods thn i will not b able to have a baby. and tht's my problem which makes my life miserable. Now, periods come in 1 month or 2 week or 1 week or regular, no fix timeings tht makes my life even more miserable and the worst part is that there no ejection or very rare n little ejection of blood during periods i don't even require pads.n this is happening for the last 3-4 years continously.Please tell me what should i do please i appreciate n thankful for all honest results tht changes my life and make me live a happy normal life. AT PRESENT I' M NOT GOING THROUGH ANY PROBLEM REALTING TO PERIODS.BECOZ I WENT FOR YOGA , THERE IS ONE AASAN IN YOGA CALLED \" SHALBASAN\" WHICH IS SPECIALLY FOR REGULAR PERIODS.PRIYA HAVE FAITH THERE IS NO SUCH PROBLEM WHICH CANNOT BE SOLVED BY YOGA . I can very well understand your problem . What I suggest
-Where do you live in India ( or which part of India) I can suggest good gynae to you .
-One firend of mine faced same problem and ended up with laproscopic surgery as she had big size cyst in her ovary( do not be scared Just for info)
-Could be due to stressful life
-Could be due to fibroids
do not take period stopping injection rather consult good gynae
Rakhi not a doctor! replied. The problem you are going through is known as Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding(DUB). The name of the drug is Ormeloxifene 60mg.

To be taken twice a week. For 16 weeks.

But do consult a gyne (a good one at that!) and get a drug prescribed by the doc and DO NOT attempt buying this from the market. I have given you this crucial info because these days, unless the doc undersytands that you know enough, you dont get good/right treatment! you need here. Because you are in need
of a gynecologist's help. Unless.....
someone here on this site is one, you
have to find one yourself, Priya.

This is not something you allow, and let
the symptoms run its course. This is not
a common cold or an insect bite, okay?
And you are right.....who knows what's
going to happen or what damage have been
done during those years.

I don't want to scare you. But this is
true. I am sorry that I can't help you.
Priya........Do you have health
insurance? because that is the only way
you will get to see a gynecologist.

I don't know if the gynecologist there
in India.....can tell you exactly what
is wrong over the phone or determine
exactly what the condition is call
but.......here in U.S-we have to be
here phyically!(appointments required)

If your problem is money....what about
your parents? I know that without
any form of insurance.....a trip to the
gynecologist office and be pricey.

I have mention this to you before: But,
did you do some research of your own?
keep searching until you find the
help you can get. What about WED MD?
Did you search there, yet? or check
out a local free clinic in your area.
How about affortable health insurance??
