Hi All,

We have just shifted to Gurgaon and Im looking for a playschool for my 2.5 yr old son...Have heard some very good things about ibambini playschool...Are there any parents / ex parents who can share their experience about ibambini to help me make up my mind?

Shrishti Raina replied. The school has a lot of activities for kids, Even in its day care the kids are busy throught with activities, They have dance,tennis, toddler program, art & craft and many more....its address is D4/A-8, Shatoot Marg, DLF 1 near Quatab Plaza Market.

Raina Raina replied. The Learning lighthouse school has come a long way especially after the Advisor – Ms R Williams has taken over. its the right place for ur kid to be in. Lots of open space to play not like regular schools with concrete all over.I was happy to see that they are not desperate in taking admissions like some schools do but r patient give their views and leave the decision on parents to decide. I after visiting schools like little footprints,i discover i,i bambini,pallavan chose the Learning Lighthouse and i m glad as my kid is so happy there .thats what we all want, our kids to be happy. worth a visit for your kid. excellent staff.dont miss their day care.U can leave ur child and be rest assured that care will be taken like their own kid. Shivani replied. I must have checked out 8 pre-schools before i finally put my child in iBambini. My second choice was The Sixth Element & 3rd was MMI. I am happy with iBambini so far. I am another exparent of ibambini...my daughter nishka passed out this year...I have been extremely happy with ibambini and would blindly vouch for it to anyone. The staff is not only warm and friendly as mentioned but they are extremely ' professional' as well. They work very hard and very patiently with the children and I found their approach very fascinating. They truly guid the children and work alongside them and not work for them, nor do they follow rote method to ' teach' childen as I have seen many others do. It is ruly a world class preschool...and has a huge green park next to it, again something many preschools don' t have....
The negative feedback, Prao you are referring to was relating to Acs and coolers not working when the electricity goes, which frankly does not happen anywhere. Fans operational at that time is good enough.
Anyway, like I said it is the approach and the way they work with kids that is worth looking at once before you make up your mind...infrastructural issues come way down in the priority list.

In fact, only day before NDTV had approached them to shoot a discussion on campus regarding how to choose the right preschool, right age for starting preschools etc. The Director, Mrs. Chaudhary was a part of the panel. you can catch the programme on monday, march 24 at 11am on NDTV Metrronation and repeat at 10.30pm...proof of the fact that they are doing good work!

Rekha prao replied. Abt 6 months back, I remember reading a lot of negative feed back on ibambini on this board itself.. I Dont have time to look it up.. but you could probably search for it if u r interested...
I' m from Blore and have no clue abt the schools in Delhi / Gurgaon.. just thought I would mention what I read sushmita replied. Hi shrishti,
My daughter goes to the pre-nursery class in ibambini since last year.
My experience with the school has been very good.The dedication and the affection imparted by all the teachers,staff etc.is terrific.
When we shifted here two years back we put our elder daughter in a big school, when last year I went there for my younger daughter they told me she has a speech problem, does not know a lot of things etc.We literally panicked as we were very sure that she would get through atleast as a sibling.
Then I came across reviews about ibambini.
The first thing that impressed me was the confidence they showed assuring me that every child takes its own time.
And today when my child has completed a year with them there is a sea change in her and now she is ready to join the nursery in a regular school in Mumbai (as we are shifting).
I can vote for ibambini as being one of the finest play school in Gurgaon.
