Hi,
My daughter is 2.5 yrs old. I had quit my job to take care of her. Now I am thinking of taking up a job. She will not have problems staying in a daycare as she loves to play with other children. Can you please let me know good day cares around brookefields or marathahalli area ?

Also, am worried as she catches cold quite easily. in that case, is it still ok to send her to day care or is it better to have a maid at home ? It' s difficult to get maids and also am worried that maids just switch on the TV and don' t take good care of the kids. Durba replied. Dear Sudha

I would advise it is better to put a child in day care rather than with a maid if there is no one at home. I have had some horrendous experiences with my child being exposed to adult content on tv. This too by a seemingly sweet maid i had got from my hometown. I suggest you do a lot of research on day cares by visiting each day care anybody suggests to you and then decide by your gut feeling. U can also take your child with you to see her reaction. As for cold and cough, since she will be going to a school soon ... u cannot shield her from infections. there is one daycare near hotel bageecha called hellokids and also there is one lady is running a daycare in purva building.there is day care called \" tom and jerry \" in aecs layout. If no one is at home i would not advice a stay at home maid.Becos' i have a maid at home to takecare of my son eventhough my mom is at home. Things are lost/disappear. Since there is no proof we cannot ask the maid. so better to drop ur kid in the daycare.i hope this gives u some inputs to decide
