hi every one,
i am now at 14th week. Feeling some time pain in my lower abodomen (like begining days). Is it common to yours also?

Hi Jaya,

The pain you are complaining about is very normal. Lots of things are normal in pregnancy. But I know that pain is not very pleasant. This started for me when I was about 3 months pregant, now in my 6th month, and its still there. There was a point when I could not ever stand and go to the bathroom. Then I tried the maternity support belts. It has really helped, for both the abdomen and any back pain.

Dont worry about the pain, it will go away soon. Even I had it when I was 14 weeks , especially while standing up or getting up from bed. The doctor said, since your uterus is expanding this pain is normal (esp if its your first pregnancy). Goodluck with your health!

Hi Jaya, Yes.. I feel some pain in my lower abdomen as well...but I was told that this is quite normal... Just bear with it...and don't worry too much...remember our bodies are undergoing a lot of change. Take it easy..Love, Ishi

Do not worry. Its common because your uterus is stretching and trying to make some space for the baby. Its normal. Good luck.

My 20 week ultrasound also showed an enlarged kidney. The good news is that since it is only one side, chances are that he will \";grow out of it\"; and if there's a problem it will resolve itself. Hey Kavita,

I'd say you get the ultrasound done so you will be able to see what is going on. Vaginal ultrasound is a good idea too.
