HI,
My baby has eczema. her skin is especially dry in the elbows, knees & legs.I apply aquaphor & hydrocortisone. I just wanna know if it has got anything to do with her food intake. How will i find out?
Is Pears soap good for skin? I live in US & I used to use dove but it didn't help. Now, i bathe her with only plain water.

My baby also had eczema. She had it when she was arnd 2-3 months old, and her dr. told me that she had it becoz of cows milk in my diet (as I was BF her then). So I removed cows milk from my diet and whenever I used to give her formula, it wud be soy-based. However, even after modifying her diet, she wud get eczema during winters and when it wud be dry. So I apply her a moisturing cream (like eucerin) everytime after bath (befor patting her dry)and on top of that, I apply her calendula cream on her legs, hands and cheeks (thats were she gets the eczema). This way she doesnt get the eczema now (touch wood) and she drinks cowa milk too. You can also try the same thing, I hope it works for your baby as well. I wud not suggest appllying hydrocortisone for a long time as it is a steriodal cream. However when u have a outbreak of eczema, u may use it to reduce it. Once it goes off, u can continue with the calendula cream ritual everytime after her bath, that way she might not get an eczema outbreak again. I also used homeopathic medicines from India for this and it was very useful.
For bath, I use Dove unscented, and give her bath alternate days. Also, try to make all her products fragrance-free.. that shud help..BTW How old is your baby? I hope my exp is helpful to you..:)
love to ur little one,
Bhairavi.

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
all the best... - Manju [View Message]
