Any solutions for baby doing hard poopy. It seems to be bothering her. She makes faces while pooping and her poop has been rela hard. I have not made any specific changes in her diet. I give rice with little ghee or dal and banana, apples. the usual stuff. Have not tried prunes yet. Do u have any homemade solutions? Radhika replied. Is ur baby in the 6th/7th month..my baby had problems too..think its increase in solids that do that..ok here is something i learnt from nurses here (though it contradicts what we know back home) apple and banana makes stools more firm..prunes are very good for loosening stools. Maple syrup a little in cereal helps too.
I had a tough time with anu which lasted a few weeks, thought it was antibiotics medicine..but now is fine. Give her a lot more liquid diet.Warm milk helps them go. Apply lot of vaseline below so it does not hurt much while passing it.
prunes and more prunes helped anu. any kind of sugar like substance corn syrup, maple syrup or sugar and water will help her stools..back home they say soak raisins in water and strain out that..maybe that will help too.
