Hi, my son is now almost 3yrs old and all of a sudden 3-4 mths back he started stuttering with words tht he had said prefectly before, and its really difficult for me to see him like that, I am really worried. Is it a phase or should I get him checked?

Hi,
I just read ur post abt ur son stuttering after being a fluet speaker.
This the similar case with my dd who is 3.4 now. Its been a week that im observing that she is stuttering on wrds that she was very fluet on and ist very very difficult on us as parents.
As ur post is almost a yr old, could u pls let me know the cource of action taken by u . Was it phase that ur son outgrew or did u' ll need proffessional help from a therapist,
Any inputs from u will help me a lot and i am eagerly awaiting ur reply.

Thank u
Aradhana

At the age of three years we can' t diagnsoed stammering. It may be normal non fluency. You should listen to your child when he speaks. At this age speech language development among children are to fast and they have limited vocabulary and want say so many thing.that results something like stammering but actually that is normal non fluency.with time it will go.you should keep your rate of speech slower while talking to the child.even after the proble persist consult a certified speech language pathologist/speech therapist with master/bachelor degree holders in the speech and hearing/speech language pathology field.

Also, he doesn't understand slightly longer sentences, even when we speak slowly and enact it such as "we'll go out after we eat". Otherwise, he appears perfectly normal. Shoranur kerala samajam Ayurveda hospital review
Hi All,

My son is less than 4 and has been diagnosed to be on the autism spectrum. He is non-verbal. We are taking him for OT and ABA/speech therapy.

Meanwhile, I read about an Ayurvedic hospital called Kerala Samajam hospital in Shoranur. Has anyone gone there for treatment? Any reviews?

Hints for Nursing
Babies eat and eat and eat. Although nature has done a pretty good job of providing you and your baby with the right equipment, in the beginning it's almost guaranteed to be harder than you expected. From sore nipples to tough latch-ons, nursing can seem overwhelming.
