Hi Archie

Hope you remember me(if you dont ,its Ok too,coz I can see that you get a lot of queries everyday).Iam ttc since Apr.Last week I had an u/s and CT scan of my pelvis done (for a diff reason) and incidentally they discovered a uterine fibroid.The report goes as \";3 cms anterior uterine leiomyoma\";.Is it to be really concerned about?I have a gyn appt on friday and I was hoping that you would be able to tell me some stuff on this.Does it require surgical removal or anyhting?I really dont want to mess up with my uterus now.Im concerned whether this could stand in the way of getting preg and again during preg and labor.Please share your thoughts on this.

Hello,
it's not big enough to get you concerned on surgery part.
it may not affect conception chances but may pose some extra discomforts in the beginning of pregnancy. it's also expected that growing size of fetus will win over fibroid and most likely this is what your gynec will tell you.
