Hi everyone,

I need all your help. I have a son who will be 3 yrs 9 months in this june. But many schools does not give admission unless child 4+ for LKG. Should I sacrifice my child' s 9 months and get admission now or should I wait and try again next year.
Also I need to know, how difficult it is to switch from one board to other. Like from CBSE to ICSE or vice versa.

I need suggestions from all of u. please help me. v replied. my daughter will also be 3 yrs and 8 months in june,we tried in Sri Kumarans and we even got it.here they took her only for nursery.At the same time there were few schools which did offer her a lkg seat next yr.Finally i decided that am going only with the school that offers her LKG.Also there are lots of ppl of her age and mostly parents like me,think that they should not waste cause of a few months difference and opt for these schools.so as far as competition is concerened, its my humble opinion that they will not lag behind their peers.Luckily for me both kumarans and the school that chose were reputed ones.So it also depends on the choices of schools that we have.

As ma said, switching from a icse to cbse will be beneficial rather than the vice versa.I chose CBSE cause its in between icse and state board.

I myself have switched b.w boards and i would say its a big advantage.i changed from CBSE to state in my 11th std and benefitted out of it.

i am a mother of two. my experience is if the child is few months like 4 to 5 months older than the cut off it would benefit the child as he has a better grasping capacity.
regarding the boards its always better to shift a child from higher boards to lower boards and not viseversa.
This is my opinion.
