Due Date Club July 2005:she is walking

Hi u all, Suchie, Sudha, Priya, Hetal,

I tried wat u all suggested today. Made her stand and asked her to come walking to me......and she did. And in a few minutes, she was walking from one end of the room to the other. She even went outside and walked like the whole way. She still can't get up on her own, but i m so so happy she can walk without me having to hold her hand.

Thank you guys so much!!!!

Regards,
Sheetal

Hi there,
Thats a great news. The best part is they don't want to crawl anymore. Savir doesn't get up by himself even now. If he wants to get up he would go crawling to nearby place for support. Other than that he doesn't like to crawl. Anyways, these kids are amazing, they achieve whatever they want in one day. Good luck and love to Anushka.

congrats sheetal. she will walk now holding herself well, in a week or so,,at night jst make sure to give her legs a good light massage,,,often kids when start to walk, they walk all the time and some have leg pains,,so take care,,,
teach her to fold her legs and then give a push to make herself stand,,just like the way you stand, she will do it ! so good luck.
never worry about your child when its not needed,,indeed a very good nws in morning :)

Hi,

Sudha - yes, she doesnt want to crawl crawl. She had started walking with her knees since a few days. And now, if i hold her up, she starts to walk on her own.

Hetal - yes, i will try to teach her how to get up.

Thanks Priya too.

Regards,
Sheetal

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
all the best... - Manju [View Message]
