Due Date Club October 2003:About baby's weight

Name: Nikki Hi girls,
I went for arnav's 9 month check up yesterday..
his weight 17.13 lb and he is in 10 percentile .before he was in 25 th .He also not gained much height.I am worried how much is ur baby's weight.My doc. said we will watch n ext time .May be he so active so not gaing weight or because of genetic reason.though his feed is good also.
I am worried about it...

hi Nikki

Don't worry too much about arnav's weight. The percentile chart is based only on US kids, and you know indians are not big bones like them. You should be happy about his activities. He is already ahead in most of the milestones. If he is feeding well, there is nothing to worry about... may be he is just burning it all by being so active.
