Cambridge Public School,HSR - Nurseries and Schools Discussion Forum

Hi,
Does any one have a feedback about Cambridge Public School, they have two branches in HSR..
Heard its a good school.

However, the school campus is very good, class rooms very spacious, neat and clean.
I recently went to the school for admission of my son to LKG for 2011-12. The fees communicated to me was huge. one time admission fee of Rs. 70,000 ( non-refundable) annual fees Rs. 7000 p.a. and maintenance fee of Rs. 6500 p.a. and tution fees of Rs. 2450 per month. I am not sure if this is worth it.
Can any one give more insight into the school ?

minchu replied. School WAS good when Vice Principal was in charge..She' s quit this year and this has caused havoc. The Principal is good for nothing...you just cant sugest or express your opinion about any problems to the school to her..And the school does not provide all the facilities it claims it has..for eg: swimming.....the pool is of course there, but for whose use?I would definitely not recommend this school to any other parent..its definitely not worth the money you spend...in case you admit your ward, you will be spending money again in changing the school sunil replied. of 10,000 and this amount is also keep increasing every year. Apart from the above fee the computer fee, Sport free, Exam fee of around 5000 yearly. The books fee cost is extra. The the total expense comes to more then 40,000 per year.

The office administration is worst not provide above information while joining the kid to the school apart from monthly fee.

If you are joining your kid for the first time keep ready with 50,000Rs cash for which no receipt.

If you are ready with the above and also every year surprise increase in monthly fee.

Cambridge Public School,HSR is quite a good school.Incidently I am getting my Sis-In-laws son admitted in that school for the next academic year.So don' t worry,they have good teachers.

Exhorbitant Fee Hike

I completely agree with you Mr.Sunil.
Cambridge school has hiked its maintenance and annual fee considerably this year, from a Rs.5000 last year to Rs.12800 this year. This is a huge raise, when compared to other schools in the sorrounding localities. Even the monthly fee has been hiked by a good Rs.600. I´ m not sure if other parents have complained against this, but today we decide to make this public. I think its the fault of every parent who does not oppose this step by the school. I´ m really hurt and plan to check out different school options for my kid next year.
The first year they charged Rs.50000 without any receipt. They do not even tell you upfront about the hike in maintenance fee every year. Do not recommend this school to any single-income parent.
