Vegetarian Food:Urad vada tips

Hi,

Whenever i prepare urad dal vadas, the vadas soak lots of oil while deep frying. any tips on how to fry without vadas tasting oily. I can feel the oil fully in the mouth while eating.

hi PM

if vada absorbs soo much oil then the reason may be due to

1) after grinding the vada batter u should fry them immediately. not resting the batter for even 10 or 15 mins.

2) while grinding u need to add only very little amount of water(just few spoons)thats it.
