Thanks for the reply and lots of ideas in there. I am trying new foods but she doesn't want any, might take any of her old foods, but hates anything new. I manage to feed her only an oz somehow, and try to feed more frequently to her. She had fever from last 2 days also, so went to the doc today. Wasn't really very helpful than your replies and support. She has lost some weight too. I am trying not to get panic and hoping this phase will get over soon.... Radhika replied. u r welcome..if she has ear infection can understand its painful to swallow..give little everytime so it doesn't pain as much..from my experience, anu would have breastmilk fine, had problems with bottle..during ear infection, so changed the nipple to the mother's nipple kind/avent nipples/bottles, she did great, maybe its easier to suck ...u can try that.
Otherwise, think they lose taste (like we do when sick), so warm food helps a bit or maybe a little sweetness.(u get corn/maple syrup to add).
Tip from my day care lady..when u have ear infection don't feed milk with head down..it helps babies a lot if head is raised or even on a carseat like position to drink.
Hope it helps..don't feel guilty becoz u took her outside, babies love seeing other folks and esp summertime outside, and this is the time to take them out so later on they will easily mix up with other people.
I agree its difficult for us and them, esp the first time, u wll be more prepared next time.
Be cheerful, time flies so quickly, this will too and she will be back to her old eating routine.
