why do i read problems written mostly by women? Is marriage only for one day for guys and lifelong for girls ? I have not read guys complaining about ILs or caring for kids. Why is it that only women fret about family problems and guys just stay cool? Why do we women search for forums and people who are in the same boat like us to share our feelings ? How do guys manage their family problems if they have?

anika replied. Why do women have more problems then men with in laws...that's simple....if men don't like something they keep quite , keep a distance or break relation. The women on the other hand can't do that as it is expected for her to adjust and keep good relations...however im possible. It becomes ...oh i only have one parents/brother/sister and u need to respect them (no matter how they treat u). To top it all women take everything very seriously and r v sensitive. I hope this answers u'r curiosty. BTW...i have my ups and downs with my hubbys side of the family...but on the whole we get along OK...i guess they figured i'm the only wife he has !!!!
Nina replied. Hi Curious,
I just wanted to say that from what I have known about the relationship I have with my brother, dad, and my husband...it's like, men are so very different than us women, that is the way it was meant to be.
Usually, when a woman feels bad or bothered by something, the first thing she wants to do is talk about it to either the person it involves or someone she's close to. Usually, she feels better after \";venting\";...
Men, on the other hand seem to just act out their problems in being more silent than women. Not that men are totally silent, but men are less likely to ramble on and on about something than a girl is.
Men do have issues about their in-laws, I am sure their are as many men that hate their FILs or MILs as the girls. What most men will do it just not go around the inlaws and if he goes, he will \";silently\"; let it be known of his resistance.
about the reason more women are on this forum, it generally seems to be geared towards women mostly, however, it's very nice to get a male perspective.
Men love their children, but, most of the time, it is us mothers that do a great deal of the feedings, bathing, seeing after the children through the day...that may be why there are so many posts from Moms instead of Dads.
Thank you,
Nina

Men think that there is no issue they cannot solve by themselves. To ask for
help or advice will belittle them in the eyes of others and they also think that they shud not care for these trivial issues such as family, kids .They shud only worry about making more money and get a better job than they have. They concentrate on other things .They are not strong enough to handle the issues that they don't even think about them. They handle their frustrations by putting their wives down.I am sure there are men who have problems they cannot handle and cannot ignore ,such men can be seen in the forums.
Coming to women ,they sweat small stuff,
that is why they are looking around for forums ,they feel that it is their responsibility alone to make a happy family. They have the strength to think about issues and hope to set things straight that is why they are asking for help.If the men in their lives hear them they will not be in these forums.

Should a single man live with his mum in India?
I am a man in my late 40s and I have lived abroad in USA for the past two decades. I never had any interest in marrying or having kids so I never married.
